Temple of the Earth Goddess

This site is a place for everyone to rest in the joyous presence of the Goddess. We who dance with the Goddess are dedicated to healing and peace. There are many ways to experience the sacredness of the present moment and to feel the beauty of life and the natural world, but those who know the Goddess feel Her as the animate and creative Spirit Who is the Source of all that is alive and good. 

 

Earth Goddess Church is not yet incorporated, and does not accept donations. There is no membership list. Everyone who has ever had the unexpected moment of joy in being alive, or has rounded a corner to find a moment or scene of unspeakable beauty, has had a glimpse of the Goddess, and is welcome as a member of this church. Everyone who has an unanswered longing for something more authentic and fulfilling in their lives, and wants to reconnect to their own reality and full potential, is welcome to join.  This is your church. Welcome!

 

It is our feeling that all faiths have a core of truth, and that all mind and spirit are one.  Nearly all major religions center on the sacredness and oneness of all life, and on the value of compassion. The Goddess is not jealous, and does not waste time on dualistic distinctions. If someone calls out in love to Allah, to Yahweh, to Jesus, or to the Buddha, She smiles. All those who breathe a sigh of relief when out in nature, or who seek to help other beings, or who work to reach a greater understanding of their own minds and of life itself, are following Her whispered words of guidance. She embraces you all. 

 

We feel it is a meaningful act to center our minds in peace and compassion for ourselves and for all others. Thoughts and emotions are electrical impulses, and empirical evidence now shows that they radiate out from us like ripples on the surface of a pond, and create consequences for good or for ill.  We invite you to become acquainted with the Goddess and help heal the earth.  We work to end individual thought patterns of anger and greed. We also join in solitary or community work to raise the energies of love and healing, and work to lessen the suffering brought on by exploitation and aggression. There is enough love and resources for all within the infinite bounty of the Goddess!!!! Feel Her joy and love, let it fill your heart, and radiate that light for the benefit of all.
